Handyman Service Across Evansville, IN

Evansville sits on a long horseshoe bend of the Ohio River in the far southwest corner of Indiana, the largest city in the Tri-State region where Indiana, Kentucky and Illinois meet. Its housing reads almost like a timeline drawn outward from the river. Downtown and the Riverside Historic District hold brick Italianate, Second Empire and Queen Anne homes from the 1800s, the Reitz Home among them. Haynie's Corner, Bayard Park and the blocks along Washington Avenue fill in with Victorian cottages, bungalows and foursquares from the turn of the century and the 1920s. The West Side keeps its German working-class roots in sturdy brick and frame houses near Franklin Street. Past those come the postwar ranches and split-levels of the east and north sides, and on the far east side and north toward the county line, newer subdivisions with vinyl siding, open floor plans and builder-grade fixtures. In one day we might patch horsehair plaster near the river and then mount a TV over a gas fireplace in a ten-year-old house off Burkhardt Road.

Daily life here runs along a few main lines: the Lloyd Expressway cutting east to west across the middle of town, US 41 running north toward the airport and south across the Twin Bridges to Henderson, I-69 looping around the east side, and Green River Road, the busiest shopping strip on the east side. The river and its levee shape downtown, with the riverfront walk along Dress Plaza, the Ford Center and Bally's Evansville nearby, and the parks spread the rest of the map, from Garvin Park and Bosse Field on the north side to Wesselman Woods in the middle of the east side and Mesker Park Zoo out west.

What Evansville neighbors book most

Jobs we handle a lot in Evansville

A typical week in town covers a lot of ground: plaster and drywall cracks in older homes, doors that swell shut every humid July, gutters full of oak and maple leaves, faucets and toilets worn down by years of mineral scale, ceiling fans for upstairs bedrooms that bake in summer, light fixture swaps in dated kitchens and halls, TVs mounted in basements and family rooms, and rental make-ready lists for landlords between tenants.

Questions we hear around Evansville

Do you cover the whole city?

Yes. That means downtown, Riverside and Haynie's Corner; Bayard Park, Jacobsville and the blocks around Washington Avenue and the University of Evansville; the West Side out toward Mesker Park and the Howell area; the north side around Garvin Park and North Park; and the east side from Lincolnshire and Plaza Park out past the Green River Road and Burkhardt Road corridors. If you have an Evansville address, we've worked nearby.

Do you work on rental houses and duplexes?

Yes. Evansville has a lot of older rental houses and duplexes, especially near the universities and the hospitals, and we do turnover work for owners and managers regularly: patching walls, fixing doors and locks, repairing running toilets and dripping faucets, replacing light fixtures and smoke alarms, and touching up paint before the next tenant moves in.

Can you work around my schedule if I'm at the hospital or plant all day?

Yes. Plenty of our customers work shifts at Deaconess, Ascension St. Vincent or the plants around town. We can work while you're out if you're comfortable leaving a key or a door code, send photos as we go, and walk you through the finished list by phone or when you get home.

How It Works

Tell us what's nagging you

Call, text a photo, or send the form. A sentence and a snapshot is plenty — we'll ask if we need more.

Say yes to a clear price

You'll see the number before we load the trailer. Approve it, pick a time, and that's the whole negotiation.

Enjoy a shorter list

We arrive when we said, do the work carefully, tidy up, and walk you through it before we wave goodbye.

The Evansville Way of Doing Business

Built for Ohio Valley Weather

Evansville gets a little of everything: sticky ninety-degree summers, spring thunderstorms that roll in off the plains, winters that bounce above and below freezing for weeks, and the occasional ice storm. That cycle swells doors, opens caulk joints, heaves fence posts and overloads gutters. We repair with it in mind, choosing exterior-rated fasteners and finishes, sealing what water wants to get into, and setting posts and anchors that hold through the next season, not just the next week.

A Straight Price Before We Start

You get a clear number before any tools come off the truck, usually from a few photos and a short call. No padded hours and no line items that appear at the end. If a job turns out simpler than it looked, the price drops. If we open a wall or pull a fixture and find something bigger, we stop, show you, and talk it through before going any further.

One Visit for the Whole List

Most homes don't need one big project; they need ten small ones. Hand us the list and we'll work straight down it: the bathroom fan that rattles, the storm door that won't latch, the leaky kitchen faucet, the TV for the basement, the gutter that spills over the back steps. Wiring and plumbing connections are made by our licensed electricians and plumbers, so the fan, fixture or toilet gets finished in the same trip as everything else.

Local People, Easy to Reach

We work in Evansville and the towns around it, and we deal with the same humid summers, Lloyd Expressway traffic and leaf-clogged gutters you do. When we give you a time window, we keep it, and if we're running late, we call. Because we're close by, we're still easy to reach after the job if something needs a second look.

Neighborhoods & Towns We Visit

We're based in Evansville and work the whole city plus the towns around it, about a 20-mile reach. That runs from Darmstadt and McCutchanville in the north to Newburgh and Chandler in the east and across the Twin Bridges to Henderson, Kentucky.

Got a list? Let's shorten it.

One quick call or text gets you a real price and a real arrival time — usually within the week.
